Fall Front Porch

Finally, the chrysanthemums are blooming! Even though I decorated the front porch over a month ago, the mums are just now looking good. Oh well, better late than never.

Here's a full view of the porch. We fly the American flag everyday.

I planted the yellow-orange mums in the flowerbed last fall. I never thought they would grow so well.

Every front porch should have a rocker. Hubby gave this one to me several years ago. It's from Cracker Barrel.

I love the scarecrows. Isn't she cute?

I covered the plastic pots with burlap ribbon and just a little hot glue.

I decorated one pumpkin with kitty pumpkin parts from The Round Top Collection

My little golden retriever puppy always sits by the front door to welcome guests.

I bought the crate at Michaels and used some stain to give it more of a rustic look.

I'll leave the porch decorated until the Friday after Thanksgiving. I always decorate for Christmas that weekend instead of shopping. Anyway, I hope to be finished with my shopping by then. Well, I can always dream.
